Our Story
Haramaen has been voluntarily established since 2006 with the support of the Imaams, Muadhins, and individuals from the Presidency of Masjid Al Haram & Masjid-e-Nabawi.
Haramaen is the largest online resource for Haramaen content for Recordings, News & Live Recordings. Haramaen offers daily updates from the Two Holy Mosques, including daily prayers and sermons. The content has ever since been updated daily and reaches an audience of millions every year.
Haramaen offers a unique opportunity to keep the audience up to date to attach themselves to the Holy Book and the Two Holy Mosques.
From the Hajj Season of 1437, Haramaen began offering a service for pilgrims and Muslims worldwide to perform Qurbani, whether it be for Hajj, Eid Ul Adha, or Sadaqah and Fidyah.
Haramaen initiated this service officially with reputable individuals from Makkah and a slaughterhouse in Makkah. Haramaen has since had orders from all over the globe, including a vast number of Hajis from various countries.
The purpose for this service to be initiated was because we guaranteed that a Trusted Source was carrying out Qurbani wherein we also allowed representatives from various groups to witness the Qurbani, and additionally, we captured videos/images as proof that professionals carried out the Qurbani during Hajj 1437 & 1438. Afterwards, the meat was distributed either to the poor or given to the group representatives.
Haramaen has been aware that there are many negative experiences regarding Qurbani not being carried out with a trusted source. On many occasions, Haramaen witnessed where animals were either too young or not healthy or where the total number of Qurbanis that was supposed to have been carried out by a slaughterhouse for a group was not carried out completed.
Haramaen also learned that sometimes the total quota was not slaughtered, and many a time, the slaughtering would take place outside of Makkah or the meat being resold to people.
Haramaen wants more pilgrims and non-pilgrims to join and be satisfied that their Qurbani is done professionally and correctly.
Haramaen representatives witness the Qurbanis and provide electronic receipts of payments, publish videos and images after the Qurbani is done, and distribute the meat to needy people. Haramaen also ensures that Qurbani takes place in Makkah and that the meat goes to the underprivileged people.
